A comprehensive curriculum evaluation used statistical methods to measure educational effectiveness, student achievement, and program outcomes. The study provided data-driven recommendations for curriculum design and instructional improvement.
A client needed evidence on whether curriculum changes were improving student achievement, and which components were responsible.
Achievement data was analyzed across cohorts with prior attainment and cohort composition controlled for, and component-level exposure was modelled to attribute effects to specific curriculum changes.
Instructional time was reallocated toward the components carrying the gain, and the ineffective component was redesigned rather than expanded.
