How to Create, Send, and Analyze a Survey
Build a survey, distribute it to your audience, and analyze the responses inside Averisys.
Step 1: Create a Survey
- Click Survey in the sidebar menu.
- Click Create a Survey.
- Design your survey:
- Add a survey title and description.
- Choose question types (e.g., multiple choice, rating scales, open-ended).
- Enter your questions (e.g., “How satisfied are you with our product?”).
- Set required/optional status for each question.
- Preview the survey to ensure everything looks correct.
- Click Save and send the survey to finalize.
Step 2: Send the Survey
- Scroll down and click the button below Surveys in This Project.
- Copy the survey link and email it to your audience.
Step 3: Collect Responses
- Click Load responses to monitor incoming responses.
- Wait until you have collected a sufficient number of responses for meaningful analysis.
Step 4: Analyze the Data
- Click Analyze this survey or Analyze all survey responses.
- View summary statistics (e.g., average satisfaction scores, response distributions).
- Use filters to segment data (e.g., by date, customer type, or other attributes).
- Generate visualizations such as bar charts, pie charts, or trend lines.
- Click Download responses to export the data for further analysis if needed.
- Identify key insights (e.g., areas with low satisfaction, drivers of churn).
- Share findings with your team via published pages or dashboards.
Tips
- Use built-in templates for common survey types.
- Keep your survey concise and clear to maximize response rates.
- Leverage Averisys’s statistical tools to correlate survey responses with business outcomes (e.g., revenue).
- If you need help at any step, use the in-platform Help or Support features.
If something does not work as described
Screens are updated as the platform changes, so a button may sit in a slightly different place than the wording above suggests. When that happens, the AI assistant inside the platform is the fastest way forward: it can see the page being worked on and answer in context, at any hour. Ask it what a message means, why a file was rejected, or which step comes next.
Most problems in this part of the workflow come from the data rather than the platform. Column headers that repeat, numbers stored as text, blank rows at the bottom of a file, and inconsistent category labels are the usual causes. Checking those four things resolves the majority of failed uploads and unexpected results before any further troubleshooting is needed.
For anything that still does not resolve, email support@averisysanalytics.com with the guide title, the step reached, and what appeared instead of the expected result. Including the file name and a screenshot usually means the issue is answered in the first reply. Related instructions are listed in the full platform guide, and common questions are collected in the support FAQ.
